The Director,FCT Water Board, Area 3 Garki, Abuja. COMPLAIN ON OUTRAGEOUS BILLING IN FCDA OWNER OCCUPIER, KUBWA. Am a tenant in one of the 1 Bedroom Flat inside the extate, As history have it, when the extate was completed there is no water supply.when water came. No billing, A deficiency on your part. It was concuded to start paying #500 per month, starting from 2007, We agreed. If backlog is giving some of us headache, we have not seen anything. Only for FCTWB to increase to #4000 per flat monthly, inrespective of the type of flat. If you must know, some of us living in that Extate are ordinary average man trying to make ends meet, not FCDA Worker/Staff. I got a flat to rent by chance not by choice choice. Please give this a reconsideration on behalf of the common Man. How can this calcuation be correct, where in my Office in the middle of Wuse II,by Ademola Adetokunbo we pay #1,150 per month. Or is there a reason that is hidden to we Occupant/Tenant. Waitin for correction on the

The Director, FCT Water Board, Area 3 Garki – Abuja COMPLAINT ON EXCESSIVE BILLING ON BLOCK 16, FLATS 1- 6 AREA 10, MAKURDI STREET GARKI METER NO A01-087079-GK1 We wish to bring to the notice of the authority our dilemma with respect to the outrageous bill we started receiving recently from the FCT Water Board. Sir, you may wish to note that before now we have been receiving a monthly bill of N6,000.00 for a block of 6No 3 –Bedroom flats which translates to N1,000.00 per flat. However, with the advent of your new billing which started from April 10 2008 to March 16 2009 we have purportedly consumed 9792 units of water given a total fee of N490,600.00. This translates to an average of about N45,000.00 per month for the entire block as against the former N6,000.00 or N7,500.00 per flat per month as against the former N1,000.00. This represents an increase of about 750%. Sir you will agree with us that not many economies in the world can sustain such a sporadic increase.
